I’ve never really had a religious skin care routine that I swear by. I have always just used different products from different lines and crossed my fingers that it was going to be beneficial for my skin. When I was in NYC last week, I went to Bloomingdales on 59th and Lex (if you haven’t been, you NEED to go). I wanted to get an eye cream that was hydrating and anti-aging just to take preventive measures. Lately, my under eyes have been really dry and because it is the most sensitive area on our face, you want to keep it hydrated-always. Especially, if you are like me and wear concealer on the daily.
Global Anti-Aging Eye Balm
I stopped by the Estée Lauder counter and tried this eye cream by the Revitalizing Supreme line called Global Anti-Aging Eye Balm. This is an eye cream that is not heavy and helps to reduce the signs of aging such as, wrinkles or fine lines starting to appear. Over time it will firm the skin. I have only been using it for a week and can tell the difference, my under eyes look plump and fresh. During the day, my eyes stay hydrated which keeps my concealer from creasing or breaking up throughout the day due to dryness. This eye cream is to be used both in the morning and evening, and can also be used as an eye balm, or a mask, weekly. To use it as a mask, just apply a generous amount, just a little more than normal, under the eyes and leave it on for 2-5 minutes before blotting off the excess cream.
Because I purchased the eye balm, I was given the Estée Lauder gift bag which came with so many goodies!! I am going to list them in the order that I use them.
- Perfectly Clean foam cleanser/purifying mask (leave on for 3 minutes)
- Anti-Aging Creme
- Anti-Aging Eye Balm
- Perfectly Clean foam cleanser/purifying mask
- Advanced Night Repair Serum
- Anti-Aging Creme
- Advanced Night Repair Eye
Global Anti-Aging Creme
The Global Anti-Aging Creme is by the same Revitalizing Supreme line that I now pair with the Anti-Aging Eye Balm. This moisturizer works the same way, by fighting against fine lines and firming the skin by adding hydration. It’s a little heavy without making you feel greasy, so a little goes a long way. I apply this to my face and neck after I have applied the Advanced Night Repair Serum.
Advanced Night Repair Serum and Eye
My face just soaks up this serum like it is thirsty for it. I’ve used oils in the past on my face that just sit on top of my skin for a long time before my skin absorbs it. This serum gets absorbed really quickly making it easy to just go in with your creme/moisturizer after. When I apply this to my face and neck at night, my face feels soft and plump rather than dull. I apply the A.N.R Eye at night time and it feels so nice and refreshing under the eye. I suffer from dark circles due to genetics (thanks mommy), so I’m hoping I see an improvement over time with this serum.
I would love to hear what you guys use for your skin care routine or if you recommend any anti-aging products! Let me know in the comments below
