If you know me, you know my obsession with puppies. I’ve always wanted a house full of dogs and if I could foster them – I so would. Life is just so much better with a new puppy. Devin and I have been talking about getting another dog for a while now (really only I have to be honest LOL). I wanted our first pup Mia to have a sister to play with so I would drag him to our local puppy store to swoon over puppies and hopefully find a keeper.
Disclaimer: If you’re anti-dog store I respect that – but, every dog needs a home and I have allergies and really need a specific dog so I can’t just go rescue one.
After an afternoon of spontaneity, Devin and I found Dixie. We were torn between getting another Maltese or a Mini Goldendoodle, but after seeing Dixie’s sweet face it was over for me. I was in. I had already picked out our future puppy’s name, so the fact that she even looked like a Dixie was just a sign.
She’s the sweetest little pup who loves to play, is a little mischievous and curious but, so loving. I can’t wait to see how her personality develops as she gets older. She’s only two months old and I think her and Mia will become best friends with a little time. So much love in a little creature and in our home!!
Anyone else love puppies as much as I do?!
