I recently shot for Elinchrom lighting in the Florida Everglades. Living in South Florida my entire life, you would think I’ve done the Everglades airboat tours, but I actually haven’t, until this job. I was excited and nervous at the same time because I didn’t know what to expect. Are alligators going to be surrounding the airboat while I’m on it? How high off the water is the airboat? Well, safe to say I made it out alive and it was an awesome experience. I didn’t see any alligators and I didn’t fall in the water while balancing on the airboat in heels so it was a WIN. Being down in the Everglades felt like I wasn’t even Florida. It was oddly beautiful and terrifying at the same time because there is literally nothing but swamp for miles and miles around you.
Here are some behind the scene shots of me on the airboat, the team in a separate airboat trying to get the shot, and the view. Stay tuned for the final images! 🙂
