IGK Beach Club Texture Hairspray
I love messy/done hair. My goal is to always make it look like it’s done, but that I didn’t put much effort into it. Texturizing sprays are perfect for getting that look. I recently purchased the IGK Beach Club Texture Hairspray and I’m in love. It’s messy hair in a bottle. After curling my hair, I’ll spray it up into my hair from my ends and just shake up my roots and the volume and texture is perfect. It doesn’t weigh my hair down and is color safe.
Becca Cosmetics foundation
When it comes to foundation, I like to keep it lightweight. If I’m not wearing my Bobbi Brown Powder Foundation I’m wearing a tinted moisturizer or a lightweight foundation like Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation. This foundation is super light so it’s great for summer and it adds a luminosity to the skin that makes you look like you have a healthy glow. It’s not shimmery, it’s radiant and if I ever feel like I’m too glowy, I’ll add some powder to the center of my face to balance it out. The foundation is buildable to a medium coverage, but I sheer it out as much as possible.
KKW Beauty Concealer + Brightening Powder + Creme Lipstick
Concealer
Is KKW Beauty worth the hype? I think so. Being as picky as I am when it comes to concealers and under-eye powders, I wanted to put KKW to the test. I have some genetically dark circles underneath my eyes that I like to think I’ve mastered covering up. After purchasing the KKW liquid concealer and brightening powder, she convinced me that it really is worth the hype. The liquid concealer is creamy, does not dry underneath the eye, it doesn’t cake and it covers and brightens. It does the job and it does it well. I can pair it with a light weight foundation or even a full coverage foundation like Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation. I use shade #8 deep medium with warm undertones. I wish the concealer was larger and had more product, but I will be repurchasing.
Brightening Powder
I purchased the brightening powder in #3 pale yellow with brightening pearls. I didn’t know how badly I needed a brightening powder in my life until I tried this product. A little goes a loonnng way. It really does make your under-eye bright, so it’s easy to get carried away, but you only need a little bit. I’ll place it in the corner of my eye area where it’s the darkest because of shadow and over my vein I have underneath my eye. The yellow tone is great for my olive skin tone to counteract the darkness. I love this powder and the compact packaging. It will last me forever.
Creme Lipstick
I’m wearing all three products in the picture above, so you can see what the lipstick #5 mid-tone rosy nude looks like on my skin tone. It’s the perfect mixture of pink and nude and is a great neutral for my skin tone. It’s super creamy and has a nice finish. Not matte and it’s comfortable on the lips. It’s a lipstick that has quickly become a go-to for me.
Corrector
The two makeup products I CAN’T live without are corrector and concealer. I can’t use one without the other because together they work magic. I need a corrector to correct my dark circles under my eyes. I use Erase Paste by Benefit Cosmetics in No. 3 that camouflages and brightens the darkness. I use a peachy orange tone to cancel it out and then go over it with my concealer. The corrector is what really makes all the difference and I’ve loved this one by Benefit. I also used it for my wedding makeup because I know it works so well. It takes a lot of trial and error trying other brands and seeing what works best with your skin tone, so I’m die hard once I find something that works.
What beauty products are you loving? What do you think I should try out next?
