Who knew I was an Amazon lover?! I didn’t until we started designing our bathrooms. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole, but it’s served me well. I wanted to put together some home items we’ve purchased on Amazon so you can shop them too at an affordable price. In our office, we bought this neutral modern desk that is so AFFORDABLE and functional. The open sides make the desk feel airy and not bulky.
Along with the desk , we purchased this great leather desk chair. I’m super picky when it comes to desk chairs – I didn’t want a conference room chair with a super tall back, I didn’t want anything bulky and big, and I wanted it to still be aesthetically pleasing. Devin obviously fought for functional and wanted something that could support his back, so we compromised and found this chair. It’s comfortable, not too big, fits right under the desk and leans back.
The original curtain rods in the house were bronze and I wanted to switch them up to modern simple black ones. I found these great rods on Amazon that fit the bill with simple black end caps. I used them in all of my rooms. For our bathroom, we got all of our shower heads from Amazon – matte black Moen for the cheapest price we could find. I wanted brass faucets in all of my bathrooms and got this one for a great price.
Out of everything I’ve purchased from Amazon, I’d say the only thing that was a little bit of a headache was ordering the faucet only because I didn’t realize it came without a piece that we needed and then had to order the corresponding piece which was this piece if you’re going to purchase the same faucet. A little update that made a huge difference in our home was changing out the door knobs. We swapped the original silver ones we had for these matte black ones for a more updated feel.
