My Final Fiesta in Vegas

When it came to deciding where I wanted to have my bachelorette party and what I wanted to do, I couldn’t decide (typical libra problems). I was torn between staying local and doing something low-key or taking advantage of the fact that this will be the only bachelorette party I’m going to have so let’s just do it. I went with let’s just do it. I decided on Las Vegas and did my research and came up with an itinerary of things to do while we were there.

I’ve been to Vegas multiple times, but never on a girls trip so I wanted to make sure we had something to do everyday while we were there. First thing we did was head to an art installation in the desert called, Seven Magic Mountains. If you’re going to Vegas anytime soon I highly recommend going to check this installation out. It’s free and only about 30 mins away from the strip.

Flamingo Hotel Pool Party

Next on the list, was to attend a proper Vegas pool party. We stayed at the Flamingo hotel which was actually really nice and I would recommend it – the rooms are nice and updated and the hotel pool was great. My maid of honor ordered one-piece bathing suits for us all to wear from Etsy, so we were excited to get to the pool and start our photoshoot. The girls wore a black one-piece that said, Bride Tribe and I wore a red one-piece that said Bride. We ended up renting out a bed by the pool with an umbrella because I didn’t want to get too tan before my wedding. Being such a big group, it was the best decision we made because we were all comfortable, were right at the edge of the pool, and had great service. If you’re going to do a Vegas pool party, you just have to do it right, right? That includes a good twerk competition, a quick photoshoot, endless drinks and laughs. Needless to say,  we left feeling tanned and accomplished.

Magic Mike

The most exciting part of the trip was going to watch a show.  There are sooo many shows in Vegas from J.LO to Cirque Du Soleil to Magic Mike Live. Like almost every other girl in Vegas celebrating her bachelorette party, we went to see Magic Mike Live. It was honestly, SO much fun, not corny at all, and was the highlight of the trip. It’s a must-see if you’re in Vegas for a girls trip you will have the time of your life. The show lasted for about an hour and a half and the guys are really good about making their way around the entire room. So, no matter where you sit, you have a good view 😉 If you want to get the most out of your buck though get seats on the couch right up front. You’ll thank me later.

Places to Eat

I’m all about a good dinner and a nice restaurant. I take dinner very seriously, if I don’t like my meal, my entire night is ruined so I was in charge of making reservations. One of my all time favorite restaurants is Carbone’s. It’s an Italian restaurant in NYC and they also have one at the Aria hotel. I made reservations immediately and was not disappointed. Everything on the menu is amazing, but if you love pasta you won’t find a spicy rigatoni as good anywhere else. They make the best. The second restaurant I recommend is Tao Asian Bistro at the Venetian Hotel. It’s a good ambiance and the food is delicious. I loved the Chilean Sea Bass and Spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice. For dessert, go to the cupcake ATM at Sprinkles – it’ll be the best cupcake you’ve ever had.

I had such a great time surrounded by so much love and excitement for this new chapter in my life. I wouldn’t of had my bachelorette party any other way or with any other group of girls. My #FinalFiesta was one for the books and the mini vacation from wedding planning was NECESSARY.

I hope I was able to give you some suggestions you’d be interested in for your next trip to Vegas or if you’re planning your bachelorette party! Leave me a comment below with some of your favorite things to do in Vegas and/or where you had your bachelorette party 🙂

xx Raquel
