My Latest No Makeup – Makeup Routine Product Breakdown

I’ve been excited to share my latest no makeup- makeup routine with you guys because the products are just too good not to share. I was in LA for a month this summer for work and stumbled (ran into) Charlotte Tilbury’s new store at The Grove.  It was super hot in LA and I didn’t want to wear a full face of foundation for my day to day castings. I wanted to keep it pretty minimal, less is more, the glowier the better. I’ve been using her products everyday since and they’re too good not to share with the rest of you.

What I Bought

I’ve heard about the Hollywood Flawless Filter product on social media and wanted to put it to the test. I had a sales rep match me in my shade and put it on with the magic away concealer, her cheek to chic blush and airbrush powder. I really wanted to play with it all and see how it worked with my skin throughout the day in the LA heat and if I started to look sweaty since they are products that add glow.

How I Use Them

I’m here to tell you it passed the test. The Flawless Filter is so pretty on and it makes me look healthy. I look like i’m hydrated, workout 5x a week and like I’ve slept 8+ hours. You can wear it by itself, put it on before your foundation, or make a little cocktail and mix it with your foundation. I wear it by itself mostly. If you have any blemishes that you want to cover up, or usually wear a full coverage foundation, then I wouldn’t recommend wearing this product on it’s own. I’d mix it in with your matte foundation for a little hint of glow.

For concealer, I use her Magic Away concealer which isn’t as full coverage as the Tarte Shape Tape, but it is super thin, blends out well and blends in great with the Flawless Filter. To bring back some depth into my face I use my Chanel Tan Soleil cream bronzer around the perimeter of my face and my cheekbones.

My next step is Charlotte’s Cheek to Chic blush in the shade Climax. I LOVE this blush because it’s two toned. It’s a warmer shade for my skin tone with brown and pink tones that just adds nice warmth. The blush is creamy and also adds a pretty glow.

My last step is her Airbrush Flawless Finish powder. I use this as a setting powder basically where I want to avoid looking too shiny or sweaty. So, the center of my forehead, my chin, the sides of my nose and under my eyes. The powder doesn’t cake up and a little does go a long way. I don’t set my whole face with it because the whole point is to look dewy and not matte.

I’m officially a Charlotte Tilbury Girl and don’t know why it took me so long to try her products. I can’t wait to try some more and share with you the hits and misses.

Do you use any Charlotte Tilbury products that you recommend? What are some of your favorite products to use for no makeup-makeup?

xx Raquel
