One of my new closet staples is a structured blazer. Blazers aren’t just for the office, you can definitely style them outside of the office and look super chic and put together. Whether it’s an oversized suit, or a structured blazer paired with denim or leather pants, you can’t go wrong. I found this green gem on sale at Nordstrom by Topshop and I had to have it. I love the idea of incorporating a pop of color with a blazer and the tortoise details on the buttons sealed the deal. My arms are pretty long, so I usually have to size up. I’m wearing a size 6 here for a comfortable fit.
A blazer is a great way to elevate basics like a plain t-shirt or tank top paired with your favorite denim. You can dress it up or down with accessories to take it from day to night. For a chic look, I would do minimal jewelry – just some gold hoops and a black structured blazer with leather pants or straight leg jeans paired with my favorite boots. I’m all about the colored blazer for the daytime. I’m in love with the structured blazer and I can’t wait to add some more to my closet.
